ABOR Rally & Public Comment

The Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) are governor-appointed public officials that hold concentrated power over Arizona's three state universities that affect all of us as students, staff, faculty, and community members. Every time the Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) holds a board meeting, we show up to remind them of our demands and to make our voices heard during the public comments section; this board meeting provides the space for a cross-sector organizing moment to demonstrate solidarity across our connected struggles and show how powerful we are together. The next ABOR board meeting is on Thursday, September 26th, 2024. The Regents have released their official schedule for the day, linked here. Our schedule for the day is as follows:
- 11:00 am Sign-making on the North quad
- 12:30 pm Rally in front of meeting building
- 1:30 pm Public Comment in the meeting hall
We encourage all members to show up to join us during our rally and to speak during the ABOR meeting's public comments section. Members can RSVP and sign up to volunteer during the day's events using the button below.
