Resources for International Students and Visa Holders
Disclaimer: This is not to be construed as legal advice nor is the union, UCW-CWA Local 7065 (“UCWAZ”) responsible as a party to any current or future litigation or matters related to any members’ outstanding legal claims. This is intended to be used as reference only. Seek out further legal counsel before making any choices related to citizenship status and visa navigation if necessary.
As many of you know, the U.S. government is revoking the visas of and deporting international students and higher ed workers across the country. University administration has largely been silent or, when pressed to comment, says they are uninvolved. We can confirm that students at ASU, NAU, and UA have been deported, asked to self-deport, or have otherwise had their visas or citizenship status revoked.
This is not just an attack on international students; this is an attack on our constitutional rights. This is an attack on our academic freedom.
