United Campus Workers of Arizona invites you to join us and fellow progressive community organizations to enjoy a meal and learn about how you can get involved with current efforts within our campus community.

Let's be real: the official orientations at ASU only tell one side of the story. Disorientation is an event intended to reveal the dark underbelly of exponential enrollment growth at these schools and to build solidarity among the campus community. Do you ever wonder:

  • What the police presence is like on campus?
  • What resources are available to you when your wages don’t cover the cost of living (they won’t)?
  • Who and where your allies are AND how you can contribute to positive change within your community?

Join Mutual Aid and our campus labor union, United Campus Workers AZ, for an evening of collective insight and community building as we aim to illuminate all the things you won’t, but should, learn at orientation.

We will meet at the Multicultural Communities of Excellence (MCoE) space (Student Pavilion 321) on Monday, October 14th from 5 to 7pm.

If you're on Facebook, you can share the event here.
