The Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) are governor-appointed public officials that hold concentrated power over Arizona's three state universities that affect all of us as students, staff, faculty, and community members. They hold board meetings five times a year to make decisions about our universities (implement new policies, adjust tuition, approve fees) and to host a "call to the audience" for the public to make statements on the record. Time and again we've gone to speak about worker issues during public comment and have been met with at best, silence, and at worst, threats of arrest.
On Wednesday, December 3rd, our union United Campus Workers of Arizona CWA Local 7065 will host our own public comment in a Town Hall format. All are welcome to come and speak on pressing issues on campus. They won't listen to you - we WILL.
We will gather at Stage 2 next to the Student Union (near the roundabout) at the University of Arizona. Our schedule is as follows:
- 9am | Grade-In/Teach-In: bring your unfinished work to complete amongst comrades to make your labor visible
- 11am | Town Hall: hear from faculty, staff, and student speakers about working and learning issues on campus
Sharing Information About the Event: We encourage you to share information about this event broadly.

If you would like to speak during our Town Hall, or are part of an organization that wants to make a public statement, please indicate that on this form. We will share our bulleted talking points with you to form coherent and diverse statements.
